Financial Wellbeing

Financial Wellbeing

How to improve yours… and become a millionaire 😉

Some people say “Your health is your wealth”, however your wealth, or at least how you think, feel and behave around money can also affect your wellbeing.

We used to think financial wellbeing was directly proportionate to how much people earned however we’ve discovered that actually the opposite can more often be true!    This was borne out by a recent survey by Salary Finance which found that the people who worry the most about money are those who earn over £100k a year.

Money is one of the most important aspects of our lives and yet many of us struggle to master it.

This video can change your relationship with money… as long as you watch and take action now.  You’ll learn 3 simple techniques to change how you think, feel and behave so you can experience financial wellbeing, on almost any income.

We’d love to learn what you found most useful, please share your comments below.

In the meantime..

Continue to stay safe, be well and thrive!

Really interesting, Mark. I agree, it’s instilled in us that happiness is directly related to having money and buying nice things with it. Thanks for sharing some great tips and ideas.

I think there is huge truth in the tendency to catastrophise. And as you said Mark, I too have noticed (particularly with those people that are close to me) the more money that they earn, the more their anxiety around money (and having enough of it) increases. It really is important to note how much of our lives are impacted by the need to earn and the worry around money. I too have aunts that I am very close to and whom have made an enormous impact on my life. I often try and reflect on my eldest aunt, the one who has had the least money in her life but is by far and away the most content. I have learnt so much from her; how she had coped with very little and most importantly, what she values most. If we can sort out our values properly, money I think then becomes less important.

Be frugal with the boring stuff and frivolous with the exciting stuff, that’s what my Dad taught me. He would watch every Penny around bills and expenditure but splash out massively on the stuff that made him and us smile
Best advice around money I have ever had.

Fortunately for me I’ve never been into expensive cars/clothes/brands etc, but I have spent my money on experiencesI love – horseriding etc. Luckily I don’t drink coffee either 😉
