Great video Mark and Rhys! I think your intention when speaking with other people is really a important point. Everyone has different levels of sensitivity to this issue and it’s important that we are all mindful of that.

Great Video Mark & Rhys. I think your advice on people spending too much time on the negative aspects of social media are very important as one tends to get sucked in. We all need to keep informed but not 8 hours a day. I love your advice on meditation as it is one area I feel a lot of us struggle with initially. Also your tip on headspace app.I would encourage anyone who hasn’t tried it out, to give it a try not just once but a few times & hopefully they will receive the benefits.Great advice all round kept brief & simple. Thank you both.

A great video with lots of useful ideas and reminders! I like it he idea of making things playful when working at home with others. The phrase ‘contributing rather than consuming’ is a good reminder to us all too.
Another great video Mark! Love seeing Rhys and hearing his advice. I’ve noticed the urge to keep scrolling on the “socials” and news and after 10 minutes I can feel my whole nervous system really start to scream. Going through all these points you’ve both laid out really puts it all into perspective!
Social media can be such a help when you’re physically isolating but you’re so right it you induce too much it can have a negative impact on your whole nervous system. Thanks Julie.
I thought this was so useful and informative. A great distillation of the advice out there, and some top tips to be positive.
For me – I am listening to some great music, I share some mix cloud mixes with my dad and he shares with me. Also my kids have started to create a ‘pop up’ restaurant for us so we get dressed up and eat ‘out’. It has created a sense of fun as we pretend to go out of the house.

Congratulations on a great video with fab ideas from you and Rhys. Sense of purpose was the one point which struck a chord with me and I find as a stay at home mum previous to covid 19 my role is now more important; ensuring routines are formed, introducing positivity on a daily basis to the house and I am taking this opportunity to teach new life skills to my children teaching them to cook and clean.. a walk in the park is now a luxury and we are grateful to get out and about everyday and using this time to teach our dog new tricks. Keep up the good work and again well done!!

Thanks Mark and Rhys, I found this really interesting and great suggestions in particular about sense of achievements and looking back on what I’m doing and how it’s making me feel, I’m sorting the house and have managed to sort the loft out which has been on my list for ages. Also about the time we spend as a family and making the most, we have played games and go a family walk every day which is the time we all take a break from school work and other work.

Thank you for sharing the video Mark. I found that checking in on the news first thing and last thing at night is enough otherwise it consumes your mind. Checking in on Family and neighbours is another good way to stay in contact so that you do not feel alone. Also i’ve enjoyed listening to music more and gardening to take my mind off the virus surrounding us all.
